CodeCAD Learning & Beer Sessions

We host learning and beer sessions from time to time from 3:00 to 5:00 in the Calgary CodeCAD training room. These are informal user-group style sessions where users (and non-users) can learn about our various software products. And yes, there's beer.

We hope to provide useful information to existing users, and provide an environment where you can meet & share your experiences with others. It's also an opportunity for people who aren't familiar with some of our products to see what they're all about. Once the posted topic has been covered, anyone is welcome to ask any question on any topic, so you don't have to wait for a PVElite session to ask PVElite questions.

You are welcome to just drop in, but if you do plan to come, please email us so we don't overbook & run out of beer: Click this link to email an RSVP.

Tuesday, June 27 - CAESAR II B31J-Essentials:

The latest version of CAESAR II (2017 HF2) has an important new capability, which doesn't install with the software; you have to know to go get it. This session will explain what the "B31J-Essentials" is about, how to get it and when/how to use it. The short version is: this is a subset of the FEATools software, authored by Tony Paulin & PRG, employing the new correlations for SIFs and flexibilities published in the ASME STP-PT073 paper. If you are using CAESAR II and don't know about this, you should come join us for this session; it's important & very useful.
